Underground House

M. Ferne Electrical carried out all aspects of design and installation on the underground house, from the bespoke lighting features,
data and TV points to the wiring for the
plant room and heat pump.

MFE were given the opportunity of installing
power and lighting to a disused underground
South West Water reservoir which was being transformed into a high specification
residential home.

We were tasked with the design of lighting
and power distribution throughout the property,
our brief was to keep to the modern and unique
style of the client’s vision. Working alongside
the customer we came up with a bespoke finish.
The results were stunning…

We used metal clad accessories and sleeve
conduit to give an industrial look and feel which
worked in keeping with the buildings original
red brick structure. Floor mounted recessed
spot lights were used to highlight the red brick,
the soft glow of the spot lights added warmth throughout the property.
